This recipe can be doubled, tripled, cooked on the stovetop or cooked in the crockpot. Its extremely easy. This is my basic recipe for taco night. It serves two without leftovers usually. I make this exact recipe and freeze it in a quart size bag. Its quick to defrost that way.

1/2 lb ground beef or ground turkey

1 pkg of taco seasoning (homemade version)

1/2 cup water

Add meat to skillet over medium heat. Cook until no longer pink. Add in taco seasoning and stir until meat is thoroughly covered. Add water and simmer until water is almost gone. Add to freezer bag and freeze.
